Healthy children do great things – they grow better, they socialize better and they learn better. Over the years, Crystal Stairs, Inc. has embarked on a number of initiatives that encourage healthy living and provide access to health care.

 

Health Outreach

Our Resource & Referral Department oversees the Health Outreach program which works to ensure that uninsured eligible individuals and families within our service area understand the health care system. Choosing health insurance can be confusing and we are here to help you navigate through the various health care options available.

Our Health Outreach Certified Application Counselors [funded by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health] can assist you with identifying and enrolling in a health plan that best meets the needs of you and your family. You will be screened for a qualifying plan e.g., Medi-Cal, Emergency Medi-Cal and Covered California applications. Our goal is to provide access to low-cost and no-cost health insurance and provide community resources to improve the health and well-being of children and their families.

 

Covered California

Eligible residents of California are able to buy health coverage through the Covered California Health Exchange. Affordable health insurance may be available to individuals and families based on income and family size.
