Join us for a journey exploring historical trauma from a racial equity lens. We will learn how these experiences affect children and families today and what you can do as an early childhood educator to help!

Module 2 dives deeper into understanding historical trauma by reviewing relevant U.S. history, such as slavery, Native American genocide and immigrant experiences.  The resilience of these local communities is also highlighted.

*Please note, completion of the 8-Part Trauma-Informed Care Training Series is a pre-requisite for enrolling in the Historical Trauma Training Series.
