Community Voices...
Because "CHILDREN CAN'T VOTE"

Community Voices (CV) is a 4 year advocacy project funded by the James Irvine Foundation, to develop parents and caregivers into advocates through community organizing in Los Angeles County.

Community Voices
offers a safe and supportive environment for parents, or anyone who cares about children, to learn to use their voice to fight for our children and create change amid the issues.

Since 2006, Community Voices has worked to create access for over 1372 parents and caregivers, to share their concerns with state and local policy makers on a variety of issues.

Community Voices holds monthly meetings to provide training and technical assistance to its members in organizing and preparing to take action. The meetings are flexible and open to anyone who cares about issues concerning children in their community.
