These programs are for parents that are working, seeking work or attending school or vocational training. Children from birth through school-age receive care in licensed centers and homes as well as care provided by relatives, friends or neighbors. Our staff also helps access support service programs for families.

Crystal Stairs’ Nickerson Gardens SAGE Center
Opened in June 1994, Nickerson Gardens SAGE Center provides high-quality child care for children age 3 to 12 who live in the Nickerson Gardens Housing Development.
SAGE Center’s before- and after-school program is accredited and meets national standards for high program quality.
